For those of you who have met Katelyn, you’ll know what I mean when I say she has THE most outgoing personality of anyone I’ve ever met. The second I met her, she squealed so loud everyone in Starbucks turned around to stare, and hugged me so hard I almost lost my breath. “OhmygoshhelloI’msoexcitedtomeetyou,AHHHH!!” was the first thing she said to me, followed by “I almost hugged that lady over there because I thought she was you!” Also, fun tidbit, this is the Facebook status I posted right after leaving Starbucks that day (things like this happen often to me):

From the start, I knew Katelyn and Kyle’s day would be so upbeat and fun anddd I was totally right. The whole crew got ready at the lovely Arrowwood Resort in Alexandria. We took bridal party photos on the grounds, and in the midst of me running around yelling, “omg, omg this is SO GORGEOUS” (photographers do that when we get really excited), Katelyn slipped on this gorgeous backless, long sleeve lace top and totally transformed her look. After the ceremony, we all stopped at the Legacy of the Lakes Museum for more photos before the reception. After a few teary eyes speeches and first dances, the entire bridal party broke out into a synchronized dance, which was the hit of the night.

Katelyn, Kyle- I’d say congratulations but since this blog post is so overdue, how about a ‘happy anniversary’ instead?
