Meghan and Jake are super cool, first of all- yet somehow, almost equally as dorky. Meghan is from Canada, which really delighted me to no end, honestly. We all met for coffee one day and I remember how downright tickled I was when she ended one of her questions with a sterotypical ‘eh?’ (I tried to hide my excitement, because like I said- they’re super cool, so I was pretending I was too).

Jake is from Colfax, Minnesota, where they had the most laid back, wonderful backyard wedding EVER. Aside from the fact that it was hot as balls (this is my first blog post on my new website and I decided that yes, I am going to be the photographer who says ‘balls’ sometimes), I had fantastic time shooting their wedding- even though basically I just followed them around with my camera while they laughed at dirty jokes, had a drink, and Meghan fanned herself with her dress to try to catch a breeze.

p.s. check out that sweet pupper in the first photo- the family dog followed us down to the ceremony site to round out the guest list!  Congratulations Meghan and Jake; enjoy married life in Canada!
