Living so close to Fargo, you really have to drive a couple hours to get away from all the flat landscapes. After attending a workshop a couple years ago at Interstate Park in Taylors Falls, Minnesota, I’ve always meant to go back and last week I did- model, gowns, and bouquet in tow. Once we arrived and waded through the swarm of photographers shooting fall sunset engagement photos, we made our way to this spot and shot until sunset- with one eye on the squirrels and chipmunks trying to crawl into our bags.

Upon leaving, I realized that the view from the Wisconsin side is even MORE gorgeous, so I guess I’ll just have to go back. 🙂 (hint, hint- I’m always up for traveling for engagement sessions, even if we both hail from the flat land of Fargo!)
